Baptist Men
Men! We, by God's Holy Word, have been called into action.
We are to be "doers of the Word: not hears only". This was at the heart of the message and decisions that were made at the January 16th meeting.
As men of God we have promised God and each other to not just meet, greet and eat, but to perform actions that prove our love for HIM and HIS love for our community and world.
This is why we are going to be doing projects and fund raisers starting with building a ramp for one of our members who has extreme spinal problems and back pain that limit her mobility. (Watch this site for the date, time and directions for this project)
Also,on March 3rd a Fund raiser for Community Baptist Men's Missions will be held. We will be having a Fish Fry. So start now inviting your neighbors, family, friends, people throughout the entire area (both members and general public) so that they'll be waiting for you to sale them a ticket when the tickets are ready.

Men, we who by the confession of our sins and our calling upon the name of Jesus to save us, have a responsibility which we MUST fulfill throughout the entirety of our lives. We must show the strength and power of the Lord God to the generation in which we are currently living AND unto every generation that is to come. In other words, we are to live the love of Christ and teach it to our families, neighbors, friends and most especially to our children, grand children, great grandchildren...in fact, to every child with whom we have the opportunity.
Even when I am old and gray headed, I am to so serve the Lord? Yes, I am!
Just a thought~How well are we as brothers in Christ and men of Community Baptist Church carrying this out? How well are YOU carrying it out? Men the children need our faith!
A Baptist Man is.....Any man who is or wants to be a part of our worship and service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So the only requirement is....Your desire to gather, fellowship and serve with men who love the Lord.
We believe in serving our Lord by doing the things that men can do! We serve with hammers, screw drivers, wenches, rakes, lawn mowers, words, prayers,coaching, teaching boys how to build things...the sky's the limit. ANY TALENT. SKILL OR GIFT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU Baptist Men can use. All done, of course, with the unapologetic purpose of sharing's Christ's love and saving grace through our personalities, words, and actions.
But can a man who does not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior join in with us...ABSOLUTELY!!! We would love to have you join in our fellowship "in the up-front hope" that God will work through our love to convict you of your need to surrender your life to Him. Then, and only then, will you too know the joy and blessings that can only be found in serving Him.
