Youth News
If you love well performed, from the heart, singing then...you just gotta come hear our Next Generation Praise Team. Rumor has it they may be presenting "King Jesus" again. If they do...Wow. You sure don't want to miss it.
Our Youth are hard at work preparing for this extraordinary event. It will be hard to top the Banquet they put on last year, but they're working so hard that I wouldn't be surprised if it is even better then last year's.

October 2th was youth Sunday at Community. The newly named praise team, Next Generation, provided the music. Our "VBS children " joined them for the opening song. Dillon Mason, Kelly Short and Britney Smith sang solos. Britney also gave her testimony. Susan Rodgers shared some interesting things about the Youth Mission Trip this summer. She mentioned how they overcame MaCalla Cook's sickness and "confessed some of the things the girls did to Wesley Page." Taylor Teague and Kelly Short then shared how much the trip meant to our Youth. They told of the difference sharing Christ with the children they were working with made in their lives. Their lives were positively and forever changed. The Youth concluded their part of the service with a big thanks to the church and to all who support them and helped make the Mission Trip such a hugh success.
Pastor Keith Mason concluded the service with a brief, but challenging message. He pointed out how God has a work for every believer - regardless your age you are never too old or too young to serve Him. In fact, many of the greatest works in the Bible were done by teenagers and young people who put their faith in God to good use.
P.S. To me (and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this) it was one of the most heart touching, inspiring and challenging youth services I have had the honor of attending. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord, young people. You deeply blessed our hearts. Keep it up!
