Heaven Test Answers

All those things listed above are good things that everyone should be encouraged to do however, according to the bible which is God’s word, none of these things will get you to heaven!

Ephesians 2:8,9 says: By God’s grace (mercy) you are saved by faith and it is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God (free) not of works lest any man should boast.

 

It says clearly in the Bible over 150 times in the New Testament that believing or faith in Christ as Savior is the only way to heaven.

 

Most people have heard John 3:16: “For God so loved the world (that’s you) that he gave his only son (Jesus) that whosoever (that’s you again) believes in him (Jesus) has everlasting life. 

That means you have everlasting life, now the moment you believe. You see the problem is most people think they can do something to earn there way to heaven but it is a free gift. Look in Romans 5:15-18 and it says over and over that it is a gift. If it is free it can’t be earned.

 

The problem is sin (things we do wrong). The Bible says we all make mistakes. (Romans 3:23) No amount of doing good can take away sin and sin is what separates us from him. The only hope for mankind is for someone to pay the penalty for our sin. This is why Jesus Christ came. He said he came to save that which is lost. He lived a sinless life, went to the cross and took our sin upon himself and paid our penalty. Romans 6:23 says that the payment of our sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Once you receive him you receive what he did for you, his payment for sins. All you have to do to go to heaven is right now, where you are accept him. Pray this simple prayer and if you mean it God promises based on his word to save you for all eternity.

 

“Lord Jesus I have sinned and done things wrong like everyone. I am calling on you today to be my savior. Take my sin, forgive me, and give me in its place eternal life with you in heaven. I accept you. I pray in Jesus name, Amen!

 

It says in I John 5:13 that those who believe in Jesus can know they have eternal life. John 5:24 says we have already passed from death to life. For the believer only heaven awaits. Contact us if you need help and we will send you a free bible study booklet.  God Bless you.
