Our Vision

COMMUNITY’S VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Being at the geographical center of Rowan County God has placed on us a special burden to be a great commission Church. We want not only to live the gospel in our lives but share it. We are committed to the gospel message of Jesus death on the cross for our sins, and his resurrection. Through this act he bought eternal life to all who believe. We see the damage the world has done to people on the streets of Salisbury and all over Rowan County. We face all the problems of a modern society. We must share the message of Jesus and his love with the 68,000 in Rowan County who do not attend Church. Of that number many have never heard the good news (Gospel) that Jesus loves them and offers them eternal life and a relationship with him. Our vision is to carry Christ by every means to everyone in our local area and thus fulfill the instructions of Jesus in Acts 1:8. We commit ourselves in prayer to this end. God give us souls that are searching for you. Won’t you join us in this noble and important mission. 2007 our focus is “living the great commission”. To this end we have built a new worship facility to hold more people and now we are in the process of building a family life center to reach county youth as well as seniors and people of all ages. This is who we are and what we are about at Community. Our motto is “Come home to Community” where our idea of Church is just do what Jesus did and keep it simple.
